For the first time ever, Volkswagen is offering a fully electric SUV. It is the second model following the launch of the ID.3 in 2020. It boasts class-leading digitalisation and connectivity, allied to a highly efficient electric powertrain.
Like the ID.3 the ID.4 launches with a limited-run 1st Edition. Additional ID.4 trims will be available later this year.
The power of electric.
The ID.4 1st Edition has a an impressive WLTP range of up to 310 miles** from its 77 kWh (net) battery. It also benefits from rapid charging compatibility of up to 125kW, with the ability to add up to 199 miles of a range in just 30 minutes. As for acceleration, the Pro Performance-based models with 150 kW (204PS) system power go from 0 to 62 mph in only 8.5 seconds.
You can choose from 52 kWh net battery capacity in the Pure equipment variant and 77 kWh net battery capacity in the Pro equipment variant along with up to 125 kW (Pure) and up to 150 kW (Pro) output.
This electric SUV also comes with the Volkswagen brand’s high-voltage battery warranty of eight years or 100,000 miles.
No shifting, no delay – power is transmitted smoothly and effortlessly.
Say ‘hello’ to your ID.4.
The ID.4 is full of helpful technology. The intuitive voice control feature and ambient interior lighting help ensure you can remain fully focussed on the road. The optional Augmented Reality Head Up Display projects important information onto the windscreen, including navigation arrows when you approach a junction.
Outside the ID.4, the urban SUV with a fantastic design concept, featuring 18 inch or optional 19 to 21 inch alloy wheels, roof rail for additional luggage, recessed door handles for improved aerodynamics and option 3D LED taillight clusters. The optional towing bracket is designed for loads of up to 750 kg (unbraked) or 1000 kg (braked). If you don’t need the towing bracket at the moment, you can fold it out of sight under the bumper.
Inside the ID.4 is so intelligently and spaciously designed that it offers you and your family an impressive sense of space. You notice this the moment you get in: plenty of legroom, a variable centre console and comfortable seats. This is rounded out by a central touch display of up to 12 inches together with a multifunction steering wheel featuring touch operation and vibration feedback.
With a huge glass panel that stretches over the entire width of the roof, the optional tilting panoramic sunroof is an eye-catching feature in itself, giving you an unobstructed view of the sky above.
Lease & Care
Volkswagen have released a new type of finance offering for their electric vehicles called Volkswagen Lease&Care. Unlike traditional PCP finance you won’t have any ownership options at the end of the agreement. However, there are options so that everything is included such as servicing and cars costs, in one easy, simply monthly payment.
