Coming soon to Pulman SKODA showrooms, SKODA’s first fully electric SUV, the ENYAQ iV. The electric SUV is SKODA’s first production model based on the Volkswagen Group’s modular electrification toolkit (MEB).

Let’s take a look at the main features below...

Battery, Range & Charging

The electric SUV will be available in the UK with two battery sizes; 62kWh and 82kWh. The entry level battery (62kWH) will offer up to 256 miles based on WLTP with 177bhp. The larger battery 82kWh will offer up to an impressive 333 miles on a single charge (WLTP) with 201bhp covering 0-62mph in 8.5 seconds.

There are three charging options for the ENYAQ iV; standard household charging (AC), wallbox charger and DC rapid charging. The rapid charging can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in just 38 minutes. There are plenty of electric vehicle apps available to find charging points near you such as Zap-Map.

Space & Interior

When comparing the MEB-based electric SUV to a standard combustion engine (petrol/diesel), you’ll notice the height difference. The batteries of the MEB are installed in the vehicle floor and overall the electrical parts take up less room so instantly there’s a lot more space on the interior. As well as this, the overhang from the front and rear is reduced. In terms of length and width, the ENYAQ iV measure 4,648 millimetres long (around 50mm shorter than the Kodiaq) and 1,877 wide.

Inside, the ENYAQ iV offers all passengers plenty of legroom still keeping with a generous boot size of 585 litres!

As with every SKODA, there’s clever storage ideas throughout including a hidden umbrella holder, centre console boxes which can be adjusted to fit your phone and keys as well as boot storage solutions.

Design

The SKODA ENYAQ iV features new design elements which are instantly recognisable and unique when comparing to other electric cars. The SUV features a Crystal Front Face which includes 130 LED lights, which illuminates on the road ahead. Add in the uniquely designed headlights; the LED Matrix headlights offer a powerful light on the road.

The panoramic sunroof shines in light from all angles into the ENYAQ iV which truly highlights the beauty inside the new electric SUV.

Technology

The new fully electric SKODA ENYAQ iV is filled with innovative technology features to ensure your drive is as comfortable and smooth as it can be. The ENYAQ iV includes the new Head-Up Display which uses augmented reality to show key driving data within eyeshot. You can view road directions and your road speed which are shown faintly on your driving screen to help guide you in the right direction.

The SUV also features a coloured Virtual Cockpit where you can control a wide range of features without the distractions from buttons and dials. For example, you can view your maps, electric miles, radio and contacts on the display in front of your steering wheels. The screens can be adjusted to suit the information you’d like to see.

With the smartphone Remote App you can control your ENYAQ iV’s features in the palm of your hand (and away from your SUV). From the app you can view how much charge is remaining in your ENYAQ iV as well as setting a time for it to charge if you’d like it to charge during off-peak hours. Plus with the app, you can also set the desired temperature you’d like before you get in and set off by using the air conditioning feature!

Features & Specification

The specification even on the entry-level trim is very impressive. The entry level trim also known as the ENYAQ iV 60 features 19-inch Proteus alloy wheels, an infotainment system featuring a 13-inch screen, rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control and keyless go.

The larger battery pack trim is also referred to as the ENYAQ iV 80 and includes chrome detailing, front parking sensors, rear-view camera, heated two-spoke leather steering wheel and an infotainment system with navigation.

All models as standard also feature road sign recognition, ambient interior lighting, multifunction leather steering wheel and Front Assist as standard.
